Olde Forge Junction celebrates health
Health and Safety Day was a new and fun experience for African refugee families living in the Olde Forge community.

Olde Forge Junction hosted the fifth annual Olde Forge Health and Safety Day on April 19.
This event provided opportunities for children and families to have fun while learning ways to stay healthy and safe. About 250 people attended. Numerous organizations provided health screenings, activities, food, information, and volunteer support including: Rappahannock Rotary Club; Stafford Crossings Community Church; Stafford Sheriff's Department; Stafford Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Services; Stafford Health Department; Fairview Baptist Church; Salem Baptist Church; Emmanuel AME Church; Stafford Head Start; Rocky Run Elementary School; Drew Middle School; Rappahannock United Way; Fredericksburg Host Lions Club; Girl Scouts Commonwealth Council; Fredericksburg Area Service League; Gideons International; Rappahannock Council Against Sexual Assault; RAPPTAPP; Bethany Christian Services; Virginia Cooperative Extension; LUCHA Ministries; MediCorp, Stafford County Social Services and Central Rappahannock Regional Library.
